In the coming weeks I will be featuring "Gold Medal" Books. These are books that have won various awards. They could be Bluebonnet, Newberry, Caldecott or other award winners. Also I hope this theme can inspire students to go for the "gold" & do their very best in all they are doing. I hope that you will take a minute to talk about "going for the gold".
This week will be a regular schedule in the library. I will be out on Tuesday with my mom. She is having her first chemo treatment, Janice Gray will be subbing for me. Also, I have an afternoon meeting Thursday.
If the the time frame works we will do research with 1st grade next week (2/22-2/26) on famous Americans. I need to meet with First grade teachers this week. Hopefully, Monday since I will be out on Tuesday & part of Thursday.
Please keep your Six Flags reading records that your students turn in. I will give you a information about inputting your information to the website at the end of this week.
