THE END!!!

It's finally here! It's really the last week of school. Just a  few things I need to let you know.

Missing Books

I still have a few students who owe me money for books. I will send home another bill on Wednesday. Would you please have them call home & leave a message with their parents. I will probably keep their report card on Friday & they will be able to pick it up on Monday. I have to double check with Mrs. Shewmake first. I will send you more info., about what to do when I have it.

Six Flags Tickets

The Six Flags Tickets are here. I will put them in your box Thursday. I have the exact number of tickets there are no extras.

Materials

If you need materials from the library, you can still check  them out. Please return them as soon as you are finished.

Fun Activities

If your class is doing something fun & you have a student who can't handle it, give me a call & I will be glad to help you out.


This year by the numbers...

The Rutherford Library circulated 24,685 books to teachers & students this year.
That averages out to be 45 books per student & 37 books per teacher.
Our collection houses 18,736 items, that is 38 per student.
We added 936 books to the library collection.
 I weeded 731 outdated items & I will be doing more this summer.

With our book fair on Friday almost 700 books went home with students. That's amazing!

You have been supportive of the research & technology projects that we have completed this year. You have stepped up to the plate & helped out when I have needed you. I love working with all of you!
