The Beginning of the End

Well, it is officially the beginning of the end of the school year. All books are due back to the library on Thursday of this week.

The schedule is going to be weird. I will see Monday classes as well as my Thursday 5th graders. I will get with you about times on Monday morning. Fifth grade will be going on a field trip on Thursday so they need to come on Monday. I will let them check out one last book, because of TAKS retesting on Tuesday & Wednesday. Tuesday I would like to try to see my Tuesday & Wednesday classes to get their books checked in. I will be in a meeting all day Wednesday & because of TAKS retesting I am not getting a sub. DS & I discussed that it would be easier to not try to circulate on a testing day. On Thursday I will see my Thursday & Friday classes. As well as individuals that are bringing books they had forgotten at home. The name of the game is flexibility.

VERY IMPORTANT: DS does not want students coming to the library on their own on Tuesday & Wednesday during testing. Wednesday I will not even be on campus & we are not getting a sub, so please don't send kids on Wednesday.

Thanks for all of your support during Children's  Book Week. I will have the poster's judged by the end of the day on Monday.
