Children's Book Week is this week! I hope that you will join in some of the fun.
- I am still taking pictures of the staff with their favorite books to to hang in the hall. I am running behind due to events in my family this weekend. If you haven't had your picture made go ahead & stop by & have your picture made.
- Don't forget the poster contest this week. Promote a book, a character, a genre, or reading itself. Posters need to be finished by Thursday afternoon for judging.
- Remember you can challenge another class to see who can read more during DEAR time.
- Wednesday Rutherford FLIPS for books. Wear your flip flops to support reading. Remind your kids to bring shoes for PE. (not a jean day)
I do not have adequate words to tell you how awesome each of you is. You are hard working, loving people. I admire each of you for the talents you possess. I wish I could throw you a parade, plant you a garden, buy you a cool car to drive. All I can really offer is my sincere gratitude & appreciation for what you do each & every day. You have brought your students so far this year. I has been an amazing journey. Hang onto your hat for a few more weeks.
