Library Schedule
It will be regular times in the library this week. Just plain, old, normal schedule.

Research
I will need to spend time in the computer lab Monday to help 5th grade finish their Power Points on the American Revolution.  I would like to get with K & 1st to look into researching with you in the coming weeks.

Bluebonnet

We need to cast our votes for our favorite Bluebonnet Books this week. Details will be coming to you later in the week.

Six Flags Read to Succeed

Letters for the Six Flags Read to Succeed program should have gone home on Friday or today. I gave each teacher 1 copy of the letter in Spanish; make copies as needed. Students need to read 6 hours & record it on their sheet. This is reading for pleasure, not classwork. Forms need to be returned to you by Feb. 26. Collect the forms & will give you directions on making your class list closer to the due date. The process is online this year so I will give you the instructions when you need them. There is no need to give a sheet to keep up with.

TAKS Help

As we have researched this year I have tried to incorporate skills that students need for TAKS. If you see a need for instruction in an area of reading or writing that students are struggling with, get with me & we will plan a lesson to address students needs. I want to assist you in any way that I can.

TELPAS Training

TELPAS training will be in the Library after school on Monday.

I really want to say thank you to you all for you prayers & concern for my family this past couple of weeks. My mom is continuing her recovery & doing well. The Dr. was able to remove all of the cancer & the lymph nodes were clear. She goes back to the surgeon today to see what her next step in treatment will be. It is so comforting to work with caring & understanding people.
